How to get all your Snapchat Memories on your iPhone

Updated November 1, 2026

In the Snapchat app you can save Memories to your camera roll, but one at a time, and thousands of Memories would take days. Here is how to get all of them on your iPhone at once.

Why "Export" in the app isn't enough

Saving from the Snapchat app works for a few Memories. For years of them, it is too slow, and the saved files often get today's date, so they end up at the bottom of your camera roll instead of their real place.

The fastest way

  1. Request your export on accounts.snapchat.com → My Data: Memories, JSON files, All time. You can do it from Safari.
  2. Send them to Google Photos with Memora: paste the Download link from Snapchat's email, and each Memory is added with its original date and location.
  3. Open the Google Photos app on your iPhone: your Memories are there, sorted by their real date.

Want them in Apple Photos (iCloud) too?

Google offers a free, official transfer from Google Photos to iCloud Photos: on Google Takeout, choose Google Photos, then the "iCloud Photos" destination. Apple explains it in this guide. Make sure you have enough iCloud storage first.

Why not download the zip files on the iPhone?

You can, but the Files app cannot send thousands of photos from a zip to the Photos app in one go, and the dates would still be wrong. Going through Google Photos avoids both problems.

Memora copies your Snapchat Memories to Google Photos or Google Drive, with their real date and location. The first 50 are free, then it is a one-time payment.

Questions

How do I save all my Snapchat Memories at once on iPhone?

Request your data export from Snapchat, send it to Google Photos (for example with Memora), then open the Google Photos app. Saving from the Snapchat app only works one by one.

Can I get my Snapchat Memories in Apple Photos?

Yes: once they are in Google Photos, use Google's free official transfer to iCloud Photos from Google Takeout.

Will the photos keep their real date on my iPhone?

Yes, if the date is written into each file. Memora does it automatically, so Memories show up at their real date in your camera roll.

Do I need a computer?

No. You can request the export in Safari and paste the download link into Memora from your iPhone.
